Installation of HVAC Systems - Qurayya Power Plant Housing

Comprehensive HVAC upgrade project for Qurayya Power Plant Housing including demolition, installation of new AC systems (Package Units, CHW AHUs, SX Splits), with full MEP works and commissioning.

Project Summary

This project was executed for the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) with MARCO Juffali as the main contractor. The scope involved a full-scale replacement of existing HVAC systems across designated facilities.

Key activities included:

  • Demolition and removal of outdated air conditioning units, their associated concrete foundations, ductwork, and DDC/electrical panels.

  • Supply and installation of new HVAC equipment including Package AC Units, Chilled Water Air Handling Units (AHUs), SX Split Units, and pumps.

  • Complete ducting works, new concrete foundations, and electrical installations tailored to the upgraded system requirements.

  • System testing, inspection, and commissioning to ensure optimized performance and compliance with SEC standards.

The work was carried in coordination with MARCO’s technical and safety teams, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure and minimal operational disruption.
